Starea de conservare a iconostasului bisericii "Sfinţii Arhangheli Mihail şi Gavril" din satul Moara, judeţul Suceava

  • Subiect: The iconostasis of the St. Dumitru Church from Adâncata, Suceava, dates back to 1794. The state of degradation of the entire ensemble (the iconostasis, the worship iconostasis and the painted vault) of the monument is very accentuated. The excessive humidity (the water flowing inside the church through the broken roof) and the attack of xylophage insects damaged the wood as well as the painting layer and the preparation layer. These degradations require the restoration of the whole church ensemble as a matter of urgency.
