”Exponatul lunii” sau cum ne punem în valoare patrimoniul muzeal

  • Subiect: The “Month Exhibit” or how to highlight our museum patrimony The “Month exhibit” exhibition project started on the 1st February 2008. The purpose was to bring to the attention of visitors a series of objects owned by the museum, objects whose presentation could not be realized within basic or temporary exhibitions and deserved a special attention, offering the visitors the possibility to discover or rediscover the values of the local history. The range of objects chosen to exhibit is varied; it included and still includes: archaeological and ethnographic objects, objects with memorial feature, documents, old books, tools and weapons, ornaments and liturgical objects. The exhibit is most often realized on the occasion of certain events (e.g. Alexandria Days) or some popular or religious holidays. Sometimes it was meant to show visitors the latest archaeological findings, valuable and spectacular at the same time.
