  • Subiect: The Saxons finery from collection of Făgăraş Land Museum „Valer Literat” The article is divided in five subchapters and presents the Saxon traditional costume, the finery the Saxons wore, the goldsmith and silversmith artisans who created them, and also finery from museum’s collection.The traditional costume is the one which best describes the individuality of an ethnicity. Alongside the edifices and spiritual life, the costumes are a strong element of identity through which the one who wears it, communicates about himself or herself. The Saxon garment, together with the finery represent an elegant and subtlety landmark.
